  • Solicitor turns to podcasts

    Lianne Cooper

    18 July 2008

A LEADING solicitors in Redditch is offering advice on the new Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) via a download podcast.
Commercial property owners, buyers and tenants can now listen to advice on EPCs, which came into force earlier this month, through the regional business news and information website, www.biz-tv.net thanks to the staff at Brownings.
Chris Taylor, assistant solicitor and commercial property law specialist at Brownings, is featured on the casts explaining the likely implications of the new EPCs.
He said: “Many commercial property owners, buyers and tenants in the region are unsure how the regulations will impact on them.
"There is confusion surrounding who will be responsible for obtaining the certificates, how much they will cost and who will be expected to foot the bill.
"A number of businesses do not even realise that the law has changed, so we are keen to raise awareness of this issue.”
To listen to the podcast, log on to www.biz-tv.net and click on the Biz Voices section.
