Tyre specialist achieves gold status

THE HARD work and skill of staff at a tyre specialist in Alcester has been recognised as it becomes as Pirelli Performance Centre (PPC).
Eclipse Alcester has been awarded Gold Status as a PPC, following a four-month assessment programme, which included a strict Pirelli technical audit and an onsite mystery shop.
Among the 45 depots that were assessed, Eclipse is just one of thirteen to meet the standards and one of five to be award gold status.
The audit covered a wide spectrum of areas including working practices, standard and maintenance of equipment, housekeeping and procedures which pertain to tyre/wheel removal and replacement, while the video mystery shop focused on the consumer experience and levels of customer service.
Manager Paul Mustowe said the prestigious award was the result of several years of staff training and investment in the most up to date machinery.
"This award pays tribute to the commitment and hard work shown by the entire team," he said.
"Our success is down to the skills and experience of our staff, the quality of our technical equipment and the excellence of our working processes."
