CHURCH Hill resident Valerie Edwards married David Soden of Gwent, Wales, at Preston Register Office on April 5.
The bride was given away by her son, David Edwards, in his army military uniform, and was supported on the day by bridesmaids Tracey Eaton, daughter, Sophia Eaton, granddaughter, and friend's daughter Elisia Franks, as well as pageboys Matthew McCoy-Eaton and Sacha Eaton.
The groom's best man was Edward Dilley.
The bride wore a caramel gold dress and jacket and carried cream roses.
The reception was held at the Claremont Hotel and the pair will honeymoon in August this year.
